We are a community of diverse perspectives, but here’s something we all agree upon: Mirowitz students deserve the very best! Providing the best, it turns out, is an expensive endeavor that is not covered by tuition alone...and we count on your generosity every year to make that possible.
The added expense required to teach your children in-person this year have (so far!) come with a price tag of $275,000. That means that we need to raise 22 percent more than we do during a non-pandemic year to cover the material and human resource expenditures of in-person learning this year.
If you make a gift every year, we hope you will consider increasing it by 22 percent! If you’ve never made a gift and are able to, please consider Mirowitz an investment in both the intellectual growth and the social-emotional well-being of future Jewish leaders.
#GivingTuesday is Dec. 1. On that day we will celebrate the reason Mirowitz students are smiling under their masks! Of course, it has everything to do with the generosity of our community that made this school year possible. We hope you will give generously, and share our posts on social media with your family and friends.

As Thanksgiving approaches, Jon and I are so grateful to Mirowitz for helping us raise our own boys to be the kind, ethical, intelligent adults they have become.

What are you grateful for? The meaningful moments your children spend with their friends every day? The phenomenal, loving teachers who are working harder than they ever imagined possible? The Judaic and Hebrew education that is connecting your children to their heritage? Whatever you feel grateful for, please join Jon and me in making an annual gift with joy and love.

Thank you for prioritizing Mirowitz in your philanthropy!

Shabbat Shalom,

Cheryl

Do you have a child in 4th or 5th grade, or a friend who is curious about Mirowitz for their child? We've planned a moment of exploration for parents and children on December 8 @ 7 p.m. RSVP here.
We're joining forces with our neighbors at B'nai Amoona (and Mirowitz dad Rabbi Jeffrey Abraham) to have a safe and FUN Hanukkah celebration:

Thursday, December 10
5 p.m.
From Your Own Car
In the Mirowitz Parking Lot

We'll kindle the first Hanukkah lights together! We'll enjoy live music broadcast through your FM radio...sung by Mirowitz mom and dad Nati and Itay Marmor! (Did you know they are rock stars in Israel?)

A 10 foot menorah awaits, as well as a personal (electric) light for each family to help us light up the night. You'll leave with a bag of materials to make the rest of your Hanukkah celebrations meaningful.

Hi Moms and Dads,

MLK Day is around the corner….again! We're not going to let the pandemic get in the way of a powerful social action day! BUT...we will need to change it up a bit!

Will you help us plan an awesome drive-by social action event for little ones! (MLK Day is January 18 this year.)

Let Lee'at know if you can come to our 1 and only meeting: Wednesday, December 9 @ noon.

Can't wait to work with you all!
Patty, Lee'at and Jen Lotsoff

The partnerships that teachers and staff have formed with us through challenging times is priceless, and has had BEYOND a profound impact on our ability to help our kids. I feel grateful, blessed, and humbled. I would not be able to parent as well without their support, which has ALWAYS been available through the years. THANK YOU for providing a safe, kind, and challenging atmosphere for my kids.

It is such a heartfelt pleasure to see Isaac thriving.
It is also so bittersweet that these kids and teachers and administrators have to deal with this for quite a bit longer even with hope of a vaccine on the horizon.
I pray that this is the hardest thing you all have to tackle as the school continues to grow

We're making EVERY effort to keep our community together throughout the duration of this pandemic. We are grateful to our medical advisory committee for their guidance. Did you see last week's medical advisory Zoom? You can watch it here
As many of you know, our son, Mirowitz sixth Grader, Zachary, lives in a medically unstable body. This is due to a condition called Familial Dysautonomia, or FD. We are thankful to FD Now for supporting the Laboratory for Familial Dysautonomia Research which makes Zach’s life better every day.

Please join our family at this concert featuring popular Jewish artists to support FD Now.

With gratitude,
Sharon and Mike Nathanson,
